prototype shelves

the derby silk mill museum and air arts co-produced the museum in miniature project where objects were taken into wards for patients to hold and talk about.

in prototyping the idea, i was invited to consider shelving that could be easily moved in a taxi and set up in a hospital waiting room to display objects.

the prototyping process got two thirds through the iterative process before the project moved the interactions with objects onto the wards only.
